Richmond County, Virginia is governed by a five member Board of Supervisors elected from the five magisterial districts of the county. The Board of Supervisors is the legislative arm of the county that is responsible for setting policies that govern the affairs of the county. The Board appoints a County Administrator to oversee the daily functions of the county.
